Poker is a legendary casino game because this is one of the oldest casino games played by many players all over the world. One of the legendary players of poker is Doyle Brunson, also known as Texas Dolly. He earned respect in the world of poker because at the age of 72 he is still very passionate when it comes to playing this game. Doyle played for almost 50 years and he is not showing any sign of slowing down when it comes to this casino game. He is one of the poker world legendary players and he was born in the year 1933 in Longworth, Texas. He has been a very talented and respected athlete long time ago. Aside from poker he is also great in other sports such as baseball and basketball. He is also a member of All-State Texas basketball team.
Unfortunately, he got into an accident, and got the knee injury, which ended his basketball career. After this drastic event in his life, he got his Master's degree in Administrative Education and at learned gambling during his college days in order to support his himself. He then realized that he can earn huge money in gambling so he made it his full-time job. It was during 1950 when he started playing in different underground gambling in Texas. It was a very dangerous move for him because gamblers who are playing at these games usually do not like losing their money. During his quest he also met two of legendary players in poker history named Sailor Roberts and Amarillo Slim. They became partners and they looked after each other.
These three travelled and shared their bankroll. There were times when they were earning huge amount of money regularly. This is the reason why they earned the reputation as card sharks.
Another legendary player in poker during his time is Johnny Chan. This legendary player was born in Guangzhou in China in the year of 1957. At first, in 1962 his family moved to Hong Kong and after that they have left China for good, and went to the USA, and found themselves in Phoenix, Arizona, and then moved to Houston, Texas during the year of 2026. They have a family restaurant there and Chan planned to help his family with their business right after his graduation in college. He started to gamble at the age of 16 in Las Vegas. At the age of 21 he decided to move to Las Vegas and has become a professional gambler there.
He is the very first Asian who played against different players in the United States. Actually, aside from these two prominent people in poker, there are lots of poker legends in the history of casino poker game. Anyone can gain success and become a legend if he or she is willing to take a risk, just like these two players, and accept poker as a really essential part of life.
